I've tryed using that text and it seems it either get ignored or the women just dont get it. I think it is that way for anyone over 30, they seem to get irritated by it. I'm 44. Suggestions?

It won't have anything to do with their age if they don't like it. It probably has to do with the initial interaction. Are you playful/teasing with them in the initial meet?
Also, how does the "starting to forget" text go for you?

I met a hottie two weeks ago at a student party. She was very receptive, then a girlfriend suddenly pulled her away to dance, but I #closed first. When I called her two days later, she was out of town and happy to hear from me. I set up a day 2 that week. She flaked. During the following two weeks, I didn`t hear from her again. Called 2 times and sent 1 text. No response.
Today I just texted „I just met your twin“. Her immediate response: My twin? Sorry, I was on vacation until last night “ Me: About 1,50 m, glasses, freckles... I am 1,67, I have only a few freckles, but glasses. Where? Me: We should meet soon, I am forgetting how you look like... No response again.
Same thing for another girl on facebook. She replied right away, but went silent after the „We should meet again soon.

They always want to know "where?" and that's funny to me. I always picture them arriving at the venue and scoping it out looking for their twin Sherlock Holmes style.
You might be doing the "we should meet up soon..." text after a few more witty exchanges.

I have used this before and it does work. I used it yesterday on someone and they actually wanted to meet up (too bad I didn't!). I hadn't spoken to this girl in a year. Where I think guys get messed on is that it has to work with your personality. I work the teasing vibe and that is why I believe it works for me. If you never really teased her before (or have that vibe) then all of a sudden you are sending her this text it will come off as weird. Age really doesn't have anything to do with it - it has to jive with your personality.

I am always playfull and teasing the women but it seems that they prefer you to actually call them instead of texting. As for the "starting to forget" text it does not usually get a response.
